Ohhhhh no!! 
I have no idea why, but Google has decided to pull the plug on Google Answers. If you don't know already, Google Answers is a place where people can ask questions of researchers for a fee that you set yourself (typically $5-$10, and harder questions more). Only when you are satisified with the answer do you pay. It's a great resource, and I am baffled as to why Google is pulling the plug at the end of this year.
